I am quite sad because i just found out that it will rain monday, which means sunday will be the last day of summer, and yet the first day of the autumn season. I love the autumcolors, but loathe the rain, but only when it is stormy or when i bike. I often take a walk with my umbrella if it is not too cold because i like how it is all silent and noisy at the same time. Vietnamese mothers usually say that if you stay out in the rain for too long, you will be sick, but i once read that it is not true, like it is some kind of a saying.
My mother would say:"do not go out in the rain. It ruins your face and you will get pimples".... LOOOOL!!!!
As for me it is different. I get sick immediately like I am allergic to rain, Hahahah! doesn't surprise me if it is an asian thing, but i finally managed to get a REAL raincoat that can protect me- true, I have not had one until now ^^, and i got the cutest comment from my mother: " you look like a parachute - a used one".
and this just reminded me of....
I have been asked quite a lot of times why I always "act" like I am not interested. I have also been accused for being cruel a couple of times now and I feel offended by that .....because..... it is .... true....
I am quite cruel against boys...
It is not like i walk up to a guy and say some nasty stuff to him, but it is my reactions to what guys says to me. Mostly when they joke. I think that it is an habit ...
I have a friend that always jokes with me. He knows i have this "thing" for boys and likes to use it against me, because he likes my reactions (yes he told me that ,....). you guys can not even imagine how many times he has introduced me to one of his friends, which have always led to many unforgettable awkward moments.
We have had many funny conversations and yesterday he tried to pull out a few pick-up lines, that he have read from a book, and it went smooth like this:
Anonymous: Okay if i meet a girl at a club, would it be okay to start like this? - "Hey gorgeous, you're stunning ".
Emtie: Mhhh' I can say the same about you... when i have got something to drink... and maybe when i have hit the light switch too.
Anonymous: okay that was mean.
Emtie: Sorry, you know...
Anonymous: that you're a lightning devil ?
Emtie: ha - ha. but true
Anonymous: okay second try. If i see that my target-girl is standing across the room, i will walk up to her and say: i think it is a good idea to talk now or should we just keep this flirting from a distance.
Emtie: That's mine!! I told you that one!
Anonymous: damn' forgot it. 3rd attempt - "Heeeey, I can do a magical trick, but only if you're single?"
Emtie: Yes i'm single but you have to be amazing to change that.
(he flex his muscles)
Emtie: Wow! You actually managed to do it. You made me go from single to uninterested and if you try to show me anything else i might consider to be lesbian.

Emtie: a bad habit? or just a really bad reaction to what you just said... okay it's hard to stop.
Anonymous: we have to get rid of that one, if you're not planning to be single the rest of your life or do you want to become a nun? oh wait. you're too mean to be a nun. you can also be a lesbian - but it would make people confused if you are the boy or the girl, because you dress like a girl... sometimes when you don't suit up... but you are... not like a guy at all.... heeeeey, wait ! I know what to do!!
Emtie: huh ?

Emtie: melt my heart ? what do you mean by that?
Anonymous: let's get some ice-cream!
Emtie: dude? how can ice-cream "melt" me f it's cold ?

come to think about it. this reminds me of how my mother reacts to what i say to her.... I think i have to sing the Will.i.am song:
"I got it from my mamma...".
I found my canon digital camera and the pictures .. well .. my skin looks dewy... or just sweaty.. and sticky.. and gross. i could probably fill jar with sweat. okay now i'm nasty.
